The Lovely Bones by Alice SeboldOK, I am a sucker for tear jerkers. :o) This book, narrated by ... hmm ... does that ruin it? Let's see. I have a sister and when I read this book, she was 16 or so and the narrator is 14 (I think?) therefore in my head, the narrator was my sister. Jeez -- I am getting teary just thinking about it. Read it. It's good.

I read this one too, but I didn't really see what all of the hype is about. I know many people rave about it, but I thought it was just okay. I thought that the unique point of view was cool at first, but as I read on and the novelty wore off, then I found the book a bit blah.
