How to be Good - Nick Hornby

How to be Good by Nick Hornby

Slightly annoying and very frsutrating (story and characters both), but still a good read. Another "what would you do?" question. Your husband goes a little nutty, quits his job and invites a spiritual healer to live in your home (and a homeless kid?)... what would you do?

Approved (but not in caps)

I totally agree! I was surprised at how not-that-funny this book ended up to be. It was my first Nick Hornby book so it left me with a so-so taste in my mouth and not enough motivation to read that other book of his - about the record store, the one made into a movie with John Cusack.

I've heard good things about High Fidelity, About a Boy AND Fever Pitch -- although now that I have seen all of these movies I am not feeling a strong desire to read the books. Stoopid movies. :o)
